She was a member of the Omaha Baptist Church and had a very strong faith in God. Saundra worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at the Schuyler County Nursing Home and Putnam County Memorial Hospital and found reward in helping others. In her later years she drove the OATS Bus and continued to find this rewarding, Saundra spent the majority of her life on the family farm in Putnam County where she was most happy. She enjoyed spending time with cousins Sherry and Sid Shortt in Georgia and looked forward to their visits. Saundra's pride and joy were her grandchildren and she used every opportunity to brag of their accomplishments.
