Serenity Ann Applegate

Serenity Applegate, infant daughter of 29 days, passed away unexpectedly on August 31, 2020.  Serenity was cute and cuddly and brought immense pleasure to her entire family.

Serenity was born on August 2, 2020, in Kirksville, Missouri, the daughter of Chelsea and Joe Applegate of Unionville, Missouri.

In addition to her parents, Serenity is survived by four siblings, Alexis, Tyson, and Ava Applegate and Haley Sells. Serenity’s grandparents are Donald and Magen Mendenhal of Centerville, IA, Tony and Glenda Melvin of Arizona, Jim and Debbie Applegate of Kirksville, MO, and Sherri and Mark Gillum of Unionville, MO.  Serenity’s aunts and uncles are Tevin, Chapin, Dallas, and Jaeger Mendenhal, Aaron Lawrence, Amy Stott, and Clien Lay.

Funeral services for Serenity will be at Playle & Collins Family Funeral Home in Unionville at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 5, 2020, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Memorials are suggested to the family and may be entrusted to Playle & Collins Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27 th Street, Unionville, MO 63565.
