Sheryl "Sheri" Baker

Sheryl “Sheri” Rene' Baker, 57 of Downing, Missouri was received by the Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2022.

The daughter of James E. and Kay F. (Leach) Behr, she was born March 30, 1965 in Naperville, Illinois. On March 15, 2003 in Lancaster, Missouri she was married to Gary Lynn Baker.

Sheri is survived by her husband, Gary; And children, Timothy R. Behr of Glenwood, MO, Bryan J Baker and wife Ally L Baker of Lancaster, MO. Also survived by Step Children Jessica Baker of Poplar Bluff, MO, Jeremiah Baker of Mountain Home, MO and Rachel Baker; As well as Grandchildren Ryan Dallas Behr and Spenser Owen Baker; two brothers, James E. Behr of North Aurora, IL and Paul E, Behr of Montgomery, IL; Two Lifelong friends, Larry and Sheila Fry of Mississippi; and several nieces, nephews and many friends she considered family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louis Oliver and Joann Evelyn Baker; and two brothers-in-law, Richard and Ronald Baker.

Sheri grew up in Warrenville, Illinois, attended Woodland Grade School, Bower Junior High School and graduated from Aurora West High School in 1983. She had many occupations throughout her life including Limo driver and security guard.

She enjoyed camping, fishing, shooting and spending time with family. She attended the Schuyler County Church of Faith.

A memorial service will be held at the Schuyler County Church of Faith in Lancaster, Mo, Visitation will begin at 1pm  and Memorial service at 2pm on Saturday, September 17, 2002.
