Terry St. Pierre, 73, of Unionville, Missouri, passed away at the Life Care Center in Brookfield, Missouri, on Thursday, January 6, 2022.
Terry Noble St. Pierre was born in Mt. Zion, Illinois, on April 25, 1948, the son of Gerald, Sr. and Helen (Shannon) St. Pierre. Terry graduated from Mt. Zion High School in 1966, and soon after began work with Norfolk and Southern Railroad. Terry farmed in Iowa with his brother Charles before moving to Unionville, Missouri, in 1984. He worked at Con-Agra in Milan from 1985 until the plant closed in 2003. He then worked with Jim Scott in his hog barns and later in the hog barns of Chad Fowler and Bobbie Pearson until retiring in 2012. After two previous marriages, Terry married Cindy (Clark) Summers in Unionville on December 14, 1985.
Terry was a likable fellow who always wore a smile and never met a stranger. He had an upbeat character and would help anyone anytime they needed help. He enjoyed playing guitar and singing with family and friends. He also liked to do carpentry and woodworking. Terry loved to take his grandkids on his tractor or side-by-side to check the cows. Terry was a member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church and attended Peace Lutheran Church in Milan.
Terry is survived by his wife, Cindy, of the home, and two daughters, Tonica St. Pierre-Leady (whom he adopted in 1974) of Alton, Illinois, and Janae (Jon) Walker of Green City, Missouri. His four grandchildren are Zayna and Tristan Leady and Jaxson and Jamison Walker. He is also survived by his brother Charles (Mary) St. Pierre; two sisters, Karen (Larry) Lange and Sharon Peddicord; brothers-in-law Larry (Linda) Clark and Jerry (Sandy) Clark; sisters-in-law Doris St. Pierre, Thelma St. Pierre, and Ramona St. Pierre; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; father and mother-in-law Roscoe and Lillian Clark; brothers Dan, Gerald, Jr., Rupert, David, and Edwin St. Pierre; and sisters-in-law Dee St. Pierre, and Phyllis Joan St. Pierre.
Funeral services for Terry St. Pierre will be at Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 10, 2022, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Memorials may be made payable to Life Care Center of Brookfield and entrusted with Playle and Collins Family Funeral Home, 709 S. 27 th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
