Trevia Jones, 91 of Kirksville passed away Tuesday (June 27th, 2017) at Kirksville Manor Care Center.
The daughter of Abbie and Edna (Kephart) Bragg, she was born November 7th, 1925 in Novinger, Mo. On August 7th, 1941 in Macon, Mo she was united in marriage to Ellis "Bob" Jones and he preceded her in death on April 10th, 2011.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Catherine (Rastus) Smith; and one brother, Delmas (Velma) Bragg. Trevia is survived by her children, Keith Jones and wife Donna of Chippewa Falls, Wi and Jerry Jones and wife Laura Slacian of Columbia, Mo; six grandchildren, Sean, Kris, Mark, Aaron, Haley, and Kathy; sixteen great-grandchildren; one great great grandchild and serveral nieces and nephews.
Trevia grew up in the Novinger area and graduated from Kirksville High School. She was employed at P.N. Hirsch and for Hollister Inc. until she retired; but was mostly a farm wife and mother.
She was a member of the Shrine Jewels and Senior Circle. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, playing cards, watching Cardinals baseball and going to Branson.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday (July 1st, 2017) at Davis-Playle Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Park View Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Kris Jones, Aaron Jones, Sean Jones, Mark Jones, Jim Jones, and Danny Gramling.
Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday (June 30th, 2017) and from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday (July 1st, 2017) at
