Zola Nadean Logan, 91 of Kirksville passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at The Pines in Kirksville.

The daughter of Earnest and Della (Halley) Carter, she was born September 14, 1932 in Kirksville, Missouri. On April 29, 1951 Zola was united in married to Edwin Logan and he preceded her in death on August 24, 2009.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Jean Moore, Marie Trader and Doris Berry; and one brother, Ernest Carter.

After her marriage, she and Edwin moved to St. Louis were she worked for Bell Telephone Company until she retired and moved back to Adair County.

She enjoyed traveling, cooking, and entertaining friends. She was a member of Hamilton Street Baptist Church in Kirksville.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 1, 2024 with funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Davis-Playle-Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Hills Cemetery.
